The Founder and President of Open Heart Ministries International and all of the Open Heart Bible Institutes is Bishop Robert P. Hanna. Bishop Hanna has over 25 years of experience in the ministry. During this time, he has established and maintained three Churches in three different states. They are located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania; Kingstree, South Carolina; and Springfield, Massachusetts. Bishop Hanna was awarded the Freedom Award/ Liberty Bell from the Mayor of Philadelphia. He has also received an Honorary Doctorate for his tremendous work in the ministry from World Ministries. Bishop Hanna is one of the most sought after preachers in the United States, and has trained and equipped numerous people for ministry. With the assistance of his devoted wife, Mother Maxcine Hanna, the LORD has blessed the Churches with one of the most powerful prayer ministries in the Body of Christ. The Pastor of the Church of Springfield, Massachusetts is Pastor Eric Hightower. Pastor Hightower consistently stresses the importance of Biblical Education. He sees the Bible Institute as a major tool to help individuals grow in the wisdom and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Dr. Walter Swinson is the Dean and Director of Education for Open Heart Ministries International. Dr. Swinson also serves as the Ordination Chairperson for the ministry.
